Cove lighting is a form of indirect lighting where light fixtures are concealed within a recess or ledge in a ceiling or wall. The light is directed upwards, washing the adjacent surface with a soft, diffused glow. Cove lighting is often used to create ambient lighting, adding a sense of spaciousness and elegance to a room. It minimizes glare and provides a comfortable, even illumination.
