The design responds to the client’s aspiration for a lifestyle centred on leisure, hospitality, and family while drawing inspiration from the rich cultural identity of Bengal.

The interior concept is guided by the idea of A Curated Living Experience, where architecture serves as a canvas for storytelling. Instead of relying on ornament alone, the design interprets indigenous crafts through a contemporary lens. Dhokra metalwork inspires sculptural metal and wood detailing, Kantha embroidery informs tactile textiles, basket weaving evolves into bespoke timber panelling, and the biodiversity of West Bengal finds expression in custom lighting installations and artistic interventions. Together, these elements create interiors that are rooted in place while remaining distinctly modern.

Spatial planning carefully balances public celebration with private retreat. Double-height arrival spaces, entertainment areas, landscaped spill-out zones, wellness facilities, and family lounges are orchestrated to encourage fluid movement between indoor and outdoor environments. Daylight, natural materials, and framed views reinforce this relationship with nature, while integrated storage, discreet service circulation, and home automation ensure that the residence functions as efficiently as it is elegantly.

Sustainability underpins the proposal through locally sourced materials, low-VOC finishes, water-efficient fixtures, provisions for rainwater harvesting, and the integration of energy-efficient systems.
