Aligarh Smart City is a revitalisation project that aims to marry the new urban environment into the old historic fabric of the Indian city. Our approach to smart and sustainable habitats focuses on building cities and not just projects by placing people and their quality of life at the centre. This includes designing for live-work-play opportunities and an accessible yet vibrant public realm. What is key, is to design a city to be safe; a city that has eyes on every democratic, public space.
